Finding My Rhythm as a Freelancer

Since stepping into the world of freelancing, it’s taken a little time to find my stride. Within a single month, I changed careers, passed my driving test and got married! With so much happening at once, it’s no wonder things started off a bit slowly. But now that the dust has settled, I’m finally finding my rhythm and what an exciting start it’s been.

May was a turning point. The sun was shining, the days were long, and I had the chance to shoot my very first event under my new brand name, SL.GRAPHICS. It was held on the stunning South Downs, and I’m thrilled with how the visuals turned out. There’s a real sense of calm in the images that perfectly reflects the energy of the day.

Of course, I didn’t do it alone. My best friend came along as my right-hand assistant, offering support, laughs, and that extra boost of confidence.

That event reminded me of why I chose this path. There’s something truly special about attending events, meeting new people, discovering beautiful locations, and most importantly, supporting my clients achieve their goals in reaching new audiences online!
